Each committee will be led by a Chair or President and will be assisted by two Deputy Chairs or Deputy Presidents. The distinction between the term ’chair’ and ’president’ is merely to highlight the type of committee run by the respective individuals. Committees that discuss a large range of topics and are generally large committees, will be led by a Chair and committees that discuss topics related to specific themes (such as WEF, LOAS, Security Council) will be led by a President. Thus, the job profiles/description will simply outline the role of Chair/President.

A Chair/President must be:
- Dedicated to attending STOFF training sessions and simulations
- Have communicative skills and prior experience in leadership
- Have a thorough interest in international affairs and an interest to learn about current world events
- Have considerable MUN experience
- Have a good academic record

The chair/president is responsible for the entire committee including the operations, outcome and the administrative functions. Each chair/president will have to full fill the following tasks: -
- Write a research report withholding DIAMUN standards
- Check and advise co-chairs’ research reports
- Responsible for producing excellent resolutions in the committee
- Be responsible for preparing co-chairs in chairing, in the run up to the conference
- Know the DIAMUN Rules of Procedure of Debate with high proficiency a month before the conference
- Attend all the training sessions, and help create a conducive productive learning environment

The deputy chair/deputy president is responsible for assisting the Chair/President in all of his/her duties. Each deputy will have to full fill the following tasks: -
- Write a research report withholding DIAMUN standards
- Behave in a model manner during DIA simulations and DIA Training Sessions
- Work collaboratively with the head chair and an international co-chair
- Attend ASAs and DIA-simulations for chairing practice
- Know the DIAMUN Rules of Procedure of Debate with high proficiency a month before the conference
- Attend all the training sessions, and help create a conducive productive learning environment

A Deputy Chair/ President/ Registrar (ICJ) must be:
- Dedicated to attending STOFF training sessions and simulations
- Have communicative skills and prior experience in leadership
- Have a thorough interest in international affairs and an interest to learn about current world events
- Have considerable MUN experience
- Have a good academic record
